| Students will participate in a variety of Montessori activities to include art, crafts, art appreciation, music and movement activities, gardening and extensions of classroom activities. Children will spend time working with the Botany cabinet, making books, and creating 2 of their own chains. |

| Ages: New Extended Day, graduates & older children who have already attended a Montessori school. |

| Students participating in this session will have an opportunity to re-experience a Montessori environment, they will complete a sewing project of their choice - a pillow, a quilt or a tie blanket - and will have time to experience some of the more advanced classroom activities including the bells, advanced math and story writing. Students will be required to provide a packed lunch for this session, snacks will be provided and will be prepared by the students. |

| During this session, children will be introduced to many scientific principles. They will explore works in Botany, Zoology, Physical Science, and Chemistry. Children should wear old clothing as many of the experiments could become messy. In addition, students participating in this session will be completing many .Steve Spangler. science activities. Our days will be packed with learning and fun!

| Students participating in this summer session will enjoy an outdoor Montessori classroom environment. They will be creating stepping stones for the outdoor playground, planting flowers, completing nature art projects, water and sand play, as well as outdoor art experiences. Indoor activities will be similar if weather does not permit outdoor play. |

| During this session children will work with a wide variety of art materials. We will be painting, doing collage and cutting works, string art, stained glass works, glitter painting, spatter painting, clay and chalk. Please dress for messy! Outdoor art activities will also be provided if weather permits. |
