Enrollment:
While we do enroll older children who have had previous Montessori experience, we prefer to accept children who will be between the ages of 2 years 10 months and 3 years 6 months by September 1 of the school year, or at the time of enrollment.
Parents are invited to call the school to schedule an observation while a class is in session. Observations take approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Please make child care arrangements for your child so you are free to ask questions and focus on the classroom activities.
Enrollment Applications for Admission are accepted at any time and must be accompanied by a non-refundable $50 application fee.
Enrollment is determined by returning students, siblings and new student applications. As much as possible great consideration is given to ensure proper age and gender distribution in each classroom.
Prospective students are invited to visit a classroom for a short visit with the teacher in March or April. Enrollment contracts are then offered to selected students and must be returned to the school within 10 business days along with a $100 non-refundable deposit. This fee is applied to the tuition.
The Garden Montessori School accepts students, faculty and staff regardless of race, national origin or religious beliefs. A racial and ethnic mixture is considered important to the health of the school and to the full social development of the child.
