Program:
The Garden is opening a third pre-K through Kindergarten classrooms. The space was designed by a leading architectural firm specializing in educational environments. Our programs are designed to meet the developmental needs of children 3 years through 6 years old. The Garden offers:
- Respect for the child, each other and the classroom community
- Noncompetitive and cooperative learning in a nurturing and peaceful environment
- Multi-age groupings
- Developmentally appropriate activities designed to promote independence
- A fully equipped, content rich environment
- Opportunities for self-direction and initiative based on individual readiness
- Emphasis on the process of developing life long learning skills
- Hands-on, experiential learning
- Individualized and small group instruction
- Respect for cultural diversity and a global community awareness
- Participation in community projects such as the Food bank, Make-A-Wish Foundation and Intergenerational Programs
- Parental involvement

Delays and Closings
The Garden follows the Seneca Valley School District schedule for school closings or delays for bad weather or snow. Parents need to watch the local television stations for the Seneca Valley listing because we have a MODIFIED SCHEDULE. If Seneca Valley schools are closed or delayed, The Garden will be closed or delayed as well. THE GARDEN'S NAME WILL BE ANNOUNCED.
